Leslie Peterson Sapp of Lake Oswego, Oregon, is an artist inspired by the past. In recent years she has developed a passionate interest in vintage American film noir and has created artwork in her own vision of that classic movement. Her works are charged with longing, adventure, romance, and intrigue, whether using paint, collage, or printmaking. She expresses her dark imaginings through a series of etchings and woodcuts in this show.
