Astoria artist Christine Trexel produces innovative renditions of handbound art books and paper-art assemblages incorporating mixed media. The concept for this exhibition, Me and My Friends, came about when she invited talented friends to create art with her: ceramicists, weavers, embroiderers, woodworkers, printmakers, and painters. Fellow artists include Cynthia Haas Bishop, Chuck Bollong, Adele Doane, Andrew Higgins, Cynthia Hoff, Fran McReynolds, Jeri Oswalt, and Rachel Paul.
