We welcome the opportunity to offer a full showing of work by Oregon jewelry artist, Marie-Helene Rake. We always have a selection of her beautiful jewelry on display, but this exhibition showcases her true versatility, including distinctive jewelry from several design explorations. Some pieces are inspired by patterns and textures found in nature, from flower petals in the garden, tree bark, silk cocoons, and rippling waves. Others evoke an urban aesthetic, with texture and linkages reminiscent of architectural and industrial elements.

Rake deftly incorporates a wide range of metalworking techniques in a repertoire encompassing fabrication, casting, forging, and fusing. She works in silver accented with high-karat gold and gems, often in unexpected combinations, to create her striking, signature designs.
